BIND objectives
BIND strives to facilitate evidence based research which is collaborative and cross disciplinary. The key research themes are: Improved diagnosis, improved treatment, responsive and appropriate care delivery, improved quality of life for people with neurodegenerative diseases and their caregivers, research valorisation and technology transfer. The research areas can be grouped into the four categories, basic, clinical, social and technological transfer, but as illustrated, the research themes are integrated and cross all research areas.
About education, BIND aims to strongly attract medical and science students to be trained in full aspects of neurodegenerative diseases in partnership with the Network of European Neuroscience Schools (NENS).
